New XBox 360 HDD on the way? (70 GB free)

New XBox 360 HDD on the way? (70 GB free) by Plaid Ninja.
A definite must have item for movies & shows! Assuming this is a consumer product, and not something specially created for the event.

From what I could tell this was a standard XBox 360 with what appeared to be the normal HD casing attached to it. I don't know if the dev kits look the same as the consumer units or not.

And FFS, its not a photoshop trick. But for the skeptics, please have a look at my amazing photoshop skillz:

With movie and TV downloads on the way at the end of the month they really need to offer a couple of drive optiosn for users, 80 and 160 perhaps?

i rebooted one of 'gears of war' units at this event and it appeared to be a developer machine--the bios was different and the game was booting from the drive.

Bjorn: it could be, especially considering horseycraze's message about rebooting the system. The machine looked like a regular standard XBox 360, but that doesn't really mean anything.

Nathan: I agree. Nothing was discussed last night, but I'd be very surprised if additional storage options weren't on the horizon.

I was at the event with Plaid Ninja and it looked like a normal XBox 360, it was not one of those huge Dev systems. Also, I didn't see any external device. It was pretty curious.

It very well could have been a dev kit. Then again with the new marketplace functionality it could be a test unit.

Its definitely not a photoshop hack, as some people have been accusing me of.

They have far more faith in my photoshop skills than I do :)

Hey Plaid was the Xbox 360 Black? Because the Black Xbox 360's are dev kits.

Nope. The unit looked exactly like mine, same white case, same HDD on top (in appearance anyway) and that was it. It was sitting on its side underneath the TV. You can see it a little better in the Tiger Woods shot. (Same TV & console)

I just uploaded a new version of the Tiger Woods shot:

Its the same TV & XBox.

Ah k well this isnt surprsing then. I mean when I got my 360 on Day 1 I turned it on and my 20 GB harddrive only had like 14GB of space. A bigger harddrive is a much needed thing.

Yep, same here. I did a little housecleaning on the drive recently and now I have 7GB left. I tend to hold onto demos, and that eats space rapidly.

Neither would be adding Godzilla, but what would be the damn point? Why does this idea persist that I photoshopped this image? Forgetting the fact that it would take at least some skill to edit and then to remove the Photoshop comments from the EXIF data. Seriously, have you even looked at that Ron Jeremy pic I did?

But beyond that, I ask this in all seriousness.

WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT FOR ME TO FAKE IT? Do you really think I get off on creating fakes to get people's panties in a bunch? Does the rest of my photostream reflect that kind of mentality?

The fact is I was sitting there with a Cuervo & Coke with a friend next to the Tiger Woods station. The dashboard was up, and this screen was showing, so I pulled out my camera and snapped a shot. Then when I came home I uploaded this photo, along with others, right off my memory stick. No photoshop, no color correction, no cropping, no special effects, no Jar Jar, etc.

So for the people who think I've photoshoped this I can only say I have no real skills there, but I welcome any money you would send me for training so that I could produce some fakery.
