Warning Mantis

"WARNING: I'm armed and dangerous!" Created for Illustration Friday, this is my interpretation of "warning". This illustration was created without reference material, based on a memory of having see a picture of a praying mantis in a children's book about animal behavior. When threatened, they rear up and flash their bright orange wings as a warning to would be attackers.
