I did. I plan to do it again. They take people out on 2 hour tours (shades of the Minnow!) for about $25. I picked a day with a good wind so sailing time was maximised.

She sails like a dream.

With a 10-15 knot breeze she ghosted along at up to 9 knots. A very gentle motion. Her hull speed is 17 knots, and she has attained 16 under sail.

Sounds like a great time. RE Beavers.They're amazing. Where my family lives on Quadra Island is a salmon spawning stream. Every fall, we'd go up and pull the beaver dam down so the fish could get past. Every time we did, they'd have it fixed by the next morning. In one study, they set up a pair of speakers by a dam, playing the sound of running water. In the morning, the beavers had them packed in so much mud you couldn't hear them any more. You're right, they just don't quit.
