On way back to Singapore from Beijing.

I've got myself a new lens and camera. Time to revisit an old hobby.

I was holding the camera with my right hand and a piece of tissue with my left hand teasing him with it to get these shots. Only 3 good ones came out of this tiring exercise but I'm glad I got a good shot of his cute little chin.

Very sick, motherless and on the brink of death, a friend in Beijing brought this male kitten back to life when all vets have given up and declined to try to rescue him. After days on the drip, medicine and intensive care, he miraculously survived. But he became blind from infection of the cornea. Relying only on his nose, he was able to feed. After months of applying cornea repair medicine, he amazingly started to develop eyesight (you can still see the milky parts of the cornea in this shot). Now, he is 5-months old, super playful and lives happily in a big mansion. It was a great lesson on love and the will to live.

大难不死，必有后福。
