Setup shot for SpaceBat

Stars: pushpins. Moon: the bottom of a dixie cup.
Icebat really was hanging upside down. The jaunty angle achieved with a couple Gameboy cartridges. An ancient C++ book took care of tripod duties.

Lighting was via my LED flashlight. I was extra-careful not to light up the strings while painting for the polaroid. (I turned the lights on for this setup photo.)

SpaceBat!

SpaceBat mission log: I have escaped the confines of Earth's gravity in order to find the universe's most perfect cookie. Unfortunately, weightlessness makes me puke. I've had to muck out this helmet a dozen times already.

Green women laid low: zero.

I'm Thankful.

My friends and family. My small robotic companions. My dog and cat. My roadster. My heath (which could be much worse). My warm house (with warm garage). My wonderful job. The state I live in. Heck, even my not-always-craptastic daily communite. I'm thankful for all of these things. Very thankful.

The above photo isn't the traditional Thanksgiving bird shot, but it has a bit of a Thanksgiving feel to it. And what's more festive than a flat-faced Enkei RP-F1? Not much. That wheel is another thing for which I'm thankful.
