The USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74), one of the largest and most technologically advanced aircraft carrier in the world, docked at Changi Naval Base, Singapore.

Housing up to 9 air squadrons on board, the USS JCS has the ability to carry up to 85 aircrafts, including the F/A-18 Hornet, EA-6B Prowler and the E-2C Hawkeye. The JCS is also capable of conducting simultaneous launching and recovering of aircrafts using its 4 catapults and arresting gears.

Commissioned in December 1995, the JCS carries approximately 3 million US gallons of fuel for her aircraft and machinery, with two nuclear reactors enough to power the ship for weeks without using fuel. It is also home to commander of Destroyer Squadron 21 (DESRON 21), and is the flagship of the JCS battlegroup.

On an entertainment aspect, the John C. Stennis was featured in several movies and games, such as the 2009 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and 2002's The Sum of All Fears.
