There is a movement to get the traffic light
moved from Navahoe Street (located where the
crosswalk is shown at the bottom of this
picture) to Berwyn House Road (located where
the parked cars are in the picture on the
right-hand side). This would allow drivers
to get in and out of the new University View
Student Housing more easily.
According to the Diamondback, "A new
stoplight would have to be approved by the
State Highway Administration. The council
asked Warren to come back with another
revised site plan if the light is not given
the go-ahead.”
Meanwhile, it would be nice to get rid of
the 2 liquor stores and 2 auto shops located
on Route 1 between Melbourne Place and
Navahoe Street. Under the post "What's
Happening?," Kevin Fallon made this
assertion in his comment: "'Eminent
domain,' anyone?"

I second DanielKessler there. Talk about
eyesore and an annoying difficulty crossing!
