Day 90 / 365 - Inflated sense of self-worth
The only snack food on my shelf in the fridge was a limp stick of celery.
Interesting fact : An 8-inch stalk of celery contains approximately 6 calories. But the mere act of digesting said stalk burns more than 6 calories, resulting in a negative caloric intake. I got caught taking this photo by one of my flat mates. Apparently I have the biggest ego of anyone she has know in the last 10 years. I guess that means anyone doing the 365 thing has an inflated sense of self-worth, I though I was just doing for the fun and the chalenge. Interesting fact: The word ego is taken directly from Latin where it is the nominative of the first person singular personal pronoun and is translated as "I myself" to express emphasis. Ego is the English translation for Freud's German term "Das Ich." In modern-day society, ego has many meanings. It could mean one’s self-esteem; an inflated sense of self-worth; or in philosophical terms, one’s self. However, according to the psychologist Sigmund Freud, the ego is the part of the mind which contains the consciousness. Comments¤ njm ¤
