Dear Mrs Richardson,

Please vote NO for the bailout.
Please listen to the voice of the people and to the voice of the economists and the voice of reason, those who call for yes vote may not be elected again but their wrong decisions will last for generations.
Let's allow the markets adjust and invest our money in America and not in foreign markets. If the economy is in bad shape let's not invest oversease but here.
Think about your money, your house and your children and what will happen if we continue to make bad investments oversease and stay in the way of the markets with our children money.
What gives us the right to do so?

Dear Delvilis,
I trust and hope you misread something, I agree with you that we should not try to fix the world by sending money overseas.

There is a point that you mentioned by implication: Time.
We do not have unlimited time to recover.
The longer we take, the more we will decide for cheaper products and they will not be the best, most efficient or longer lasting. But, will be cheaper.
We will save money, initially but spend more money later and the waste of energy and Global Warming will increase.
Some are now talking about measuring the Acceleration of Global Warming, that in a couple of years there will be little ice in the North Pole and ships will come directly from Europe to California and save 10,000 miles in transit, fuel and time.
Can you imagine all the products they will bring to our shores? While we are still debating how best to promote the Economic Recovery?
Let me suggest a reason for haste: If we take too long to recover, foreign goods will flood our markets and the purchase of Made in U.S.A. products will linger. Need I say more?
