Reno Wine Walk

The Reno Wine Walk is an event that takes place all over downtown Reno every third Saturday of the month. There are so many businesses that participate, and part of the fun is trying to go around to them all. You can start anywhere along the “course,” and it’s at your first stop that you collect your official Wine Walk glass and your map for the rest of the day. From 2-5pm you can go to a number of bars, restaurants, stores, and coffee shops and other businesses all located within walking distance of each other downtown around Virgina Street. At every stop you will get to choose from a couple of different wines, they’ll give you a taste, and after you finish you move on to the next stop. Every location will stamp your map, so if you’re up to it you can attempt to concur every stop on the walk. This is a task I have yet to accomplish! The best part is, after the walk is over you have plenty of places to choose from to eat, all within walking distance – which is important after 3 hours of wine tasting. -Lauren Randolph
