Highgate Cemetery-West London

This beautiful statue lying there as if it would be alive had to be covered with branches. (a wish of the the relatives) but the guide was so kind to clear the grave a little bit for us. I have never seen before in my life such a beautiful touching statue...

This piece is very similar to the 18th-century architectural art from a vestry of an Italian church. She gazes in contemplation, wrapping her impressively oversized wings across her beautiful head of curls and the soft folds of her long gown. One of our favorites from www.neo-mfg.com, We tried to capture this Memorial Female angel statue as as a large piece of wall art decor.

An absolutely stunning angel monument. It is ashamed that someone can't clear the trash from it.

I love this photo and would love to see the statue in person. I was unable to go to Highgate Cemetery the one time I went to London but do hope that one day I will be able to return and visit Highgate. I will look for this statue.
