A different view of the famous Coronado Bridge. Everyone kept screaming "take the picture now...NOW!!" Oh the pressure!!

Lots of character in this old barn. Worth scaling two fences and stepping through mounds of cow paddies and braving the cold.

This is the main focus of the Buddhist Meditation Center in Adelanto, CA. You can see this from Highway 395 despite being almost a 1/4 mile away. She weighs 60 tons and I may be wrong but is close to 30 feet tall. How can you not stop to see what this is all about?

There is this Buddhist Meditation Center in the middle of nowhere (yes..I mean NO where..Google Adelanto, CA). It rises from the shrubs and dirt and is truly something to behold. There was only about 30 minutes of sunlight left when I dashed in and I literally ran from statue to statue as the lighting was incredible!
I don't even know if I was truly allowed on the site, but no one chased me off or asked me to leave. In fact when I finally left, the door to a mobile home opened up and two little monks came out and waved and smiled at me. I wish I could have stayed longer but #1 it was in the 20's and I was freeeeezing and #2 I had a long drive ahead of me.

Hope to post more. This was just one of those things you run into in life and have to take in.

This is the interior structure of the San Diego Botanical building. Looks strong but also appears delicate.
