Late Season Aurora, Murphy Dome
CRW_5217 This is one of a number of photos I took on an excellent evening late in the season during the wee hours when there was a very faint "sunset" glow on the horizon. It works out nicely that the setted sun and auroras both appear to the north. Yes, the sun sets in the north if you go far enough north and you're close enough to the summer solstice.
