Pastel

    Due to a great longing for summer, I took a pic of Tomek's sidewalk chalk. You can't tell that it's sitting in a container in the snow outside.

      Nice texture and lights to dark areas. The colors even bleed in the reflections. You probably knew I would like this though ;-)

      Thanks Deb and John! John: I swear I didn't see your similar picture before taking this one. I did like your comment about "never missing an opportunity to capture something mundane". True. Mundane pics somehow often turn out to be most interesting.

      I'm sure you didn't. And I'm sure mine wasn't the first! Even if you had, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

      I think that is the cool thing about Flickr. You can get ideas and extend them with your own personal 'lens.' So watch for my follow-up sidewalk chaulk shot someday ;-)
