Walletsafe pacsafe Travel wallet

Walletsafe pacsafe Travel wallet by Myskers.
This is the wallet, attached to my belt. I have the chain wrapped around my belt and latched onto itself.

If you pulled the links really hard you could probably break or otherwise ruin the chain, but a preliminary examination suggests that it would take a considerable, almost necessarily deliberate force to do so.

In other words, getting it snagged on your pocket or something isn't likely to break the chain. Just don't try to lift yourself and it should be fine.

We'll see how well it holds up because I'm going to South Korea for two weeks. I'll report back on my return to give a real-world description of how well it performed.

Hello Sheena,

I still use the wallet every day. It's become a habit to chain it to my belt, and all in all I'm pleased with it. The wallet itself, and the chain, have held up perfectly; it's darn near good as new.

The three worse things about the wallet are:

1.) My (student ID) card has fallen out easily when opening the wallet. It's the size of your typical credit card. It's in the flap that you first see when you peel open the Velcro. I've learned to open the wallet with more care, but I wasn't "tearing it in half" before, so to speak. I just opened it too quickly I suppose.

2.) The white design that you see in that photo is actually (slightly) raised rubber. For awhile I worried that it would rub through the inside of a pocket or such, but I have had no such problems.

3.) The outside zipper (coin pouch) opens toward the direction of the chain that you see in this photo. As a result the zipper may open a little (via friction) when you slide the wallet into your pocket. The chain has been long enough for me to put it into my front pocket "up side down", and that solves the problem with the zipper.

Besides that, you can move the chain to the other side of the wallet if you so desire. There's an extra loop on the wallet to add more stuff to it (or that you can move the chain to).

These may sound bad, but all in all I'm pleased with it. It's been very convenient and I don't worry about losing it.

Just now I had to jump up to answer the phone, and I didn't bother putting my wallet away because it hangs from my belt. There have also been times when I was out shopping that it was quicker and more convenient for me to simply let it drop for a moment, assuming that the wallet was closed up first of course! ;)

I have also grown into the habit of attaching key chain items to the wallet's chain... those bar code "shopper advantage" mini-cards that grocery stores give out, and similar things. It dangles a bit at my side (unless I remember to tuck them into my pocket), but typically it's of very little annoyance.

Hope that helps. Good luck finding him a good wallet. :)
