      Nice. I've been roaming about the LA beaches lately too, and kids are a joy to photograph (will post them later). I would have gotten a bit closer, but then again my camera doesn't have the DOF as yours.

      This is just such an evocative image of childhood framed within a beautifully vivid beach scene.
      I don't find it at all 'cute' - I mean, not being able to see the girl's face creates a more remote mood where 'cuteness' can't detract from the essence of the image, which seems more ethereal and redolent to me. It's all about wonder and exploration... beautiful work!
