Oliver Wallace at Liberty Theater Organ, Seattle, WA (1924)

Found this photo tucked in with my grandfather's things... here are the notes on the back, in his handwriting:

"Oliver G. Wallace, circa 1924, playing the $40,000 Wurlitzer at the Liberty Theater in Seattle. Wallace wrote 'Hundistan', pop tune in Seattle and later used by Sax Quintette in Community Concerts, inspired by his brother who hummed a native tune after being there. Wallace liked it and wrote a pop tune from it."

Oliver Wallace went on to work for Disney and won an Oscar for his music work on "Dumbo".
