365:6 library contemplation

this is the day that i had the genius idea of changing my colossus of a quilting project to knitting for my independent studio class. duh! seems like an obvious choice right? i got the idea for that quilt in my head and its still there and i still want to keep going with it, but its just too overwhelming to finish with the time constraints that i have. so now...ONWARD.

i plan on knitting a sweater, a capelet, a hat, and a pair of mittens. by december 4. i'm a much faster knitter than quilter and since i can knit guilt free (hey, its HOMEWORK!) i'm sure i can get this done. i'm pretty excited. i'm just a little nervous about the fact that these will all be original designs. and my first attempt at a sweater. I'm using a top down raglan calculator and planning for a short sleeve tunic with seed stitch details, keeping it simple for the first sweater. Details about the other things to follow.
