The basic capture is good and the PP made it special and fantastic!
The color gradient made this stand over the crowd...

This is a dramtic picture and a worthy tribute. The moon, to me, has such spiritual significance and it symbolically unifies us all. The brigde symbolizes great human achievements and a collective good. Once doesn't have to be brilliant to see how could be achieved if all people could work together peacefully.
I noticed on your blog that you have moon shooting tips. It is particularly fun and thrilling to witness and photograph a moonrise. Specifically you check the charts for the exact time and azimuth (location on the compass). Finding a spot where you can see the moonrise over water is ideal, if possible. I find that manual settings are key, since the moon is far brighter than our camera think it is.
To me moonrises thrill me every time!
