    5DMKII +16-35mm f/2.8, 1/125 @ f/6.3, ISO 200.

    My first time witnessing a live bobsled events. They are so fast and you literally get less than a second to capture the bobsled in frame. I parked myself a few meters from the finish line and snapped this shot.

      Great capture and your choice of shutter speed that shows how fast the sled is going but still making the people seem frozen in time Awesome!

      Hi Lisa, you should try to pre-focus on a spot where the sled will be and hope your camera is fast enough to capture multiple shots.. The 5D may be a bit slow, but you might get lucky.. Ive seen some spectacular action shots with a 5D.

      The faces in the crowd are priceless!!

      Do you have to get special passes to get that close, or does general admission get you that close?
