If it helps, I've done far worse, although fortunately I don't have photographic evidence to back this up!

I burnt my face quite badly after going to an airshow last summer. Thankfully my eyes were safe, due to wearing sunglasses.

However, somewhat joyously the sunglasses also protected the skin around my eyes, resulting in a nice 'goggles' look for the following month. I had to wear my sunglasses as much as possible to disguise my stupidity!

Hi!, I'm so sorry that you got the truck driver's tan. Obviously you did apply the sunblocker as eau de cologne. In the caribbean you should use always a 60 factor and take sunbaths (walking it's better) between 7 to 9am and after 5 pm. That's for a soft and good tan without consecuences and to avoid looking like a lobster.
