re-attach to spines by flaring open, but not having locked in place
dip and swish, dip and swish! Stir constantly, but keep shallow. Dip the fabric, not the wood.
dip slowly into dye bath, you don't want to stain the wood of the shaft
your dis-assembled parasol will look like this
the dye bath. 3 gallons of piping hot water, with 1/2 bottle of liquid dye.
I like to use a wooden spoon for stirring, though this time, I just used it to stir the dye, not the parasol fabric.
