A plum present

Plum sorbet, poached plums and chocolate cigars. More poached plums in red wine, this time with some aromatics - star anise and cloves, two of my favourite spices. The chocolate cigars were made with walnuts, hazelnuts, filo pastry and dark chocolate. Recipe here.

Dancing star: Plums are fantastic but seem to play second fiddle to peaches and nectarines. Glad you liked this shot. The light was just fantastic.
