Yes, I'm still enjoying summer fruit. This is a fruit-driven dessert perfect for the warmer months.

Deb: Supposedly summer drags on a bit longer here in Perth. So I guess I'll have to wait until the cool weather sets in for the heavier desserts. But I always make an exception for chocolate.

Donna: We have farmer's markets here too and they are just great, produce straight from the farm to us.

Reya: I love basil sorbet. I've made it before and it tastes really interesting. I guess it's not a flavour you expect in sorbet but it works!

I've settled down now at school but the first week was a bit hectic, waking up early, finding classes, etc. The idea at the bistro is that they will train me to be one while I'm studying. It's great that the two activities are going on at the same time because they reinforce each other.
