Pai, Thailand

Pai was one of our favorite places. We stayed longer than we planned and could have stayed longer. Pai is a little town in northern Thailand perfectly situated in the middle of the jungle with lots of waterfalls and other attractions nearby. Pai is mostly a tourist basecamp, a home base for all sorts of adventure treks and stuff. In short, I don't think I could bear the place in high season. But when we were there, it was perfect. The people were friendly. The food was amazing. And it was wayyyy laid back.
