Another reason not to go to Starbucks

Another reason not to go to Starbucks by Mickipedia.
Darwinism's impact on traditional social values has not been as benign as its advocates would like us to believe. Despite the efforts of its modern defenders to distance themselves from its baleful social consequences, Darwinism's connection with eugenics, abortion and racism is a matter of historical record. And the record is not pretty.

isn't this just him ranting about how genetics works? I mean, fine, hate it all you want but it's not going to change. I mean, I don't like that gravity make leaves fall on my lawn, but guess what? It's going to keep happening.

The irony is that your coffee has in essence cried; leaving tear stains on its face ...as if it knew the shame it carried on the outside. It just wants to juice you up, yet only leaves you upset and $4.95 poorer.

Well, let's say that Starbucks is coffee... I hope many of you are familiar with Darwinism and, if so, you can point out a little thing that those so called 'modern defenders' (that by the way have been around ever since Darwin wrote his book) have over seen.
When Darwin wrote about evolution, he did it considering many species, not only one. And what those 'defenders' and many other people are trying to do is apply Darwinism to the Human specie... and there's a problem there, as we're only one specie. I'm not willing to go back to the XIXth C. when Darwinism was used to justify the fact that women stayed at home and were seen as inferior beings.
And going back to Starbucks, belive me, when the only thing you can find is a French coffee that will charge you the same price of a Venti for a 10ml coffee, you're really going to miss it!

If people boycott based on the quotes on their cups, Starbucks will have absolutely no customers. They have quotes on *opposite* sides of many issues. You hate this quote, I like it. I hate other quotes on the cups, you may like them. It evens out :) ummmmm, I want coffee now. I hate seeing pictures of yummy stuff. Makes me hungry.

I'm not boycotting Starbucks no matter what they put on their cups. Their coffee costs too much and I don't go there anyway.
