The Beauty of Tabebuia by ^RedBull^

The Beauty of Tabebuia

Winter has dawned upon Bangalore. While we continue to sung ourselves under the sheets every morning, a pink tree blooms.

Tabebuia, a flowering tree native to South America was brought to Bangalore by the British. Most of Bangalore's sidewalks are studded with these trees and they paint the city pink with their rich blooms.

Take a walk along Cubbon park and High Court lawns. Your eyes will not blink!

Tigers of Pavagadh by ^RedBull^

Tigers of Pavagadh

Pavagadh is a hillstation 30km from Vadodara, Gujarat. It houses the famous Mahakali Temple. Enroute the peak, you come across a large market with shops selling religious photos, VCDs, books, fruits, coconuts, flowers etc.

I was surprised to see a large number of 'photo stalls' lined up. These stalls have a large wallpaper of a forest, digitally merged images of goddesses and interesting props like stuffed tigers, crocodiles and even a mini motorcycle. The tiger, being the most loved prop as Goddess Mahakali rode on a tiger. I was thrilled to see so many photo crazy devotees.
