Craft Beer Small Museums by Bike 12/16/2006

By the end of our day biking to Breweries and beer notables we learned that Portland, Oregon is Craft Brewery Captial of the World - with more breweries ber capita than any other city in the world. WOW! Twelve cyclist joined the December beer-themed tour that started at the Rose & Raindrop, a closing pub famous for over 3 dozen beers on tap, then we enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the the Lucky Lab Pub by brewer Ben, cycled past the Skidmore Fountain & the Weinhard-Blitz old brewery remains in the Pearl to tell more beer stories, and finished up the tour with an amazing look into a regional bottling brewery, Bridgeport in NW Portland.
