I'm grateful that this is the view from my living room. It is a constant reminder to slow down, to look, to see the beauty in the world, and to remember the power of nature.

I am incredibly grateful for the companionship of the "best cat ever." She's somewhere around 15 now, and I almost lost her 16 months ago. She now has a pacemaker, and still bounds up to the back of the couch, carefully inspects visitors, and has taken to my sweetie. We spend a lot of time just sitting next to each other.
