Day 1

I have been here in Marikina City for over a month but have pretty much been limited from taking Landscapes due a number of distractions that you can see here. Wires, walls many lights that prevent a decent exposure of the night sky.

This evening I resisted those distractions because of very pretty pink clouds and the activity around our place was exemplary of Metro Manila. It is evening on New Years Day and still many travelers on our street and people still lighting the sky with fireworks. Still a very festive feeling in the air.

This just happens to be my first long exposure of 2010.

A project for taking pictures and writing to be more active creatively.

There are many good places to take pictures at Tagaytay!

I have been very happy with the quality of the Tamron 17-50mm 2.8.

Clouds above Taal Volcano

Pictures from the ridge above Taal Volcano just cannot capture fullness of the view from Tagaytay City.
