Pride of Li-ions

See, you pay Canon extra for the spellchecking...
Pride of Li-ions by rbrwr.
Top: official Canon NB-2LH, as supplied with EOS 400D. Replacement cost: £45 (or £37.99 at 7dayshop prices).

Bottom: 7dayshop compatible battery (with a slighty higher capacity at 750mAh). Cost £9.99. For TWO! Even if it explodes killing me and everyone else in a 100m radius, that's still a bargain.

I came to the same conclusion when getting a spare battery for my 20D. No problems with it at all so far even after several years of use.

Wow - that's worth knowing about. Apart from the 100m blast radius, of course.

This was done to illustrate a discussion on the Bristol group. *Hairbear and qwertyuiop also reported good experiences with unbranded batteries from 7dayshop. And no explosions, yet.
