      Actually it feels fine now. The tooth in question (upper left 2) is dead, the pressure in the abscess has been relieved so it isn't hurting the neighbouring teeth, the antibiotics should stop it coming back, and I've got an appointment to get it permanently fixed on Wednesday.

      All done - though I still need a checkup on my other teeth - and I have to say that root canal work on a small and easily accessible front tooth is much less hassle than a filling in a back tooth.
