Samsung Galaxy S II

Samsung Galaxy S II

Moving on from the watches(sigh... :'(..), decided to shoot the Galaxy S II as today's subject. Dreamt that this would be a piece of cake, woke up from my dreams when I realized that this "subject" was a reflection magnet.. lol.. Had to control the ambient and strobe light to a good effect to pop the colors and details of the AMOLED screen.. ;).. Lighting it also was pretty fun as the smooth finish of the phone and the Gorilla Glass was providing enough and more trouble with reflections. Took about 1 hr or more for the whole setup and the final shot but at the end got what I had in my mind, wanted to get those highlights on the edges.. ;).

Hope u guys like it!

Tag Heuer Limited Edition...

Tag Heuer Limited Edition...

Today, on the menu is a priceless subject... :P..lol. This is the Tag Heuer Mercedes Benz SLR Limited edition series, limited to just 3500 pieces worldwide. Now that should cost BIG BUCKS, isnt it?? Wait it aint over.. :D.. Tag had sold this watch only by invitation, a friend of mine owns this one and it feels awesome to hold this in one's hand even if u don't own it, trust me.. :P..

Was very tricky to shoot as this watch is well used, the leather strap on the back side( not seen in the pic) has started to wear out. There are lots of scratches on the shiny chrome surface around the dial and on the right side of the watch( also avoided while composing the frame). Hence, the obvious choice for me was to light up the chrome part SOFT and bright enough to hide the scratches( this depended on the distance between the flash & the surface of the tent on the top). This is by far the best suitable composition I could come up with that would hide all the wear and tears of the watch.. Now, no matter its well used and has a few scratches here and there, How can I miss a chance to photography this beauty!!?????
