Also 2008/08/08 at 20:08:08 on 24 hour clock.
Taken from Little Shoal Bay between Northcote and Birkenhead on Auckland's North Shore, looking towards the Auckland city lights through the Auckland Harbour Bridge with Sky Tower at the left of the bridge. The dark outline to the left is Northcote Point. The tide was out, so there are reflections from some places where there are pools and others are just sand.
Don't know about this lucky Chinese 8's, some bits fell off my tripod and I'm not sure that I got them all in the dark. If I did, I will be lucky!
Actually I did get lucky because I was taking a picture about every 10 seconds and this one was genuinely at 08:08:08 pm on 08/08/08.

That's funny, the file time as created by the camera is 08:08:08 but the exif info says 08:08:09. I would have thought the exif data would be earlier than the file data rather than later.

Nice shot...I like the tide not being in and the light just catching some of the foreground. Lucky it wasn't your camera that fell to bits...lucky it happened close to home so you could go back the next day if need be....lucky we got to see this shot......lucky eh?! :)
