It was funny to see the documentary on Saatchi & Saatchi (where I used to work BTW) on the creation of this image for that new Brazilian cachaca, and now to see the "guerilla marketing" campaign kick into full swing. You can't look anywhere in Shoreditch now without seeing this image stenciled somewhere...

Edited to say: That's right, the cachaca is called Sagatiba

Stef you bring up an interesting point. Not real sure how I feel about the whole thing. It looks like the marketing side of it is on the rise though. I wonder if that will make people who stencil as their own form of expression move onto something else?
