This shot concludes my travel photos; it was an amazing trip, and all of us can't wait to go back to the west/southwest for some more geological nirvana action. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. This was one of the last shots I took at Ennis Lake, Montana, before I packed up and went back to the motel to start the long day, that included a visit to Virginia City, Nevada City, Yellowstone Park, and finally Pocatello Idaho. The mountains, the grass, and the clouds were catching the morning light, turning purple and red and yellow and on fire, and the clouds would catch the colors everywhere... that's uh, neat :-)

Like I said, with this upload, I'm going on a brief hiatus. I'll still be around, poking my head in your streams, and maybe even uploading a shot now and again, but my activity level will plummet for the next three months or so. I'll miss you guys and your photographs, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. So take care, be well, and I'll catch y'all later.
