So here it is, my first photo for my Project 365 '09. As mentioned in my mission statement, another personal rule for me is to choose––and stick to––a lens in my arsenal per day, so the big question was, which of my lenses to choose for my Jan. 1st shot.
Well, Project 365 completes itself after a full cycle of 365 days.
The reason a circle has 360 degrees is precisely because of the astronomical particularity that a terrestrial year is 365/6 days (and also because of the ancient Babylonians, I presume).
So, I thought to myself, what's more appropriate to kick off my Project 365 than a 360˚ panorama?
Thus, here it is. My first photo, a 360˚ panorama using stereographic projection to create a "Wee Planet".
Weapon of the Day: Pentax DA 10-17mm F3.5/4.5 Fisheye.
