Amazing sunset tonight.

Time for a game of Chutes and Ladders before our bedtime routine begins.

I have a lot of nieces and nephews. My sister has four kiddos and my brother has three. I have four kids myself, so it makes for some hectic holidays!

My Grandma, SIL, and two nephews made the drive up to meet our newest little niece, the cute little bundle I'm holding in this photo. After they left, my sis and I traveled back to my house so I could get a few photos of all of her kids in their cute little shirts she had made. After that, I had to clean house and get ready for John's company employee appreciation party, so it was a very busy Sunday. This was pretty much all I took in the form of a selfie. Oh, well. I can't be a rock star all the time. ;)

Don't you hate it when your husband interrupts your 365 time because he wants to make out, resulting in you trying to take a snapshot through the mirror, but it gets all blurry? Yeah, I don't either. Actually, I rather ♥ it. :)

What Am I?

What Am I?

Tonight we had a little cousin slumber party and my nephew came over to stay the night. We had tacos, ice cream, and played games. One game was called Headbanz. You had to put on a head band, attach a card, and then ask questions to figure it out. I was the undefeated queen.

My hair is lovely, no? ;) Why yes, I am that person who posts unshowered photos of herself. *shrugs*

One roll of fur. One sword. One length of fabric. These were all that they gave her before they shoved her into the cold, hungry and barely clothed, and told her to fight for her life. Almost immediately, she found herself in the middle of a fight that by sheer luck left her opponent dead and not her. Wiping his blood upon her makeshift cloak, she was overcome by the unnerving realization that she may not survive the night. Terrified and freezing, she huddled down behind a crumbling wall, waiting for the moment when she would have to kill again.

This. Was. Cold. It's about nineteen degrees outside, but the raging wind made it so much colder. I took four frames and prayed I had a keeper. I lost my remote, too, so I had to keep jumping up, running to the camera, hitting the timer, and running back. Probably kept me from losing my fingers. ;)

I finished the Hunger Games this weekend. It's obviously still rolling around in my head and inspired this. I'm greatly looking forward to the movie. Even my husband is excited. :)
