This was a small market village about an hour out of Hotan on the Kashgar road. The man had the saddest eyes. I just managed one snap before he went away.

hi. I saw this photo (and some more) in a gallery in Brooklyn Height one and a half week ago... i think it was the 'Nelson Hancock Gallery'. very nice to see the photos in real world :)

but i cannot afford to buy a photo from you... so maybe i will do some prints from these flickr photos for my wall at home ;)
