(erection drawing)

(erection drawing) by kat cruickshank.
The most insanely mangled English translation I have ever seen. This was a gift from Rob of course.

Display ossa root entelechy?! What in the world is that supposed to mean?!

i dunno man, Saiyan Wield Ways and Means features such classics of modern free verse as "Prythee no sport with stingy or asperity game. Winding finger have got bloodstream not wallk. Throagh of peril."

I think the person who wrote "Erection Drawing" got promoted....

It is amazing what happens when someone tries to translate literally. The translator has obviously never used English, ever. But they do seem to own an unabridged dictionary. If I look up each word the actual meaning of each phrase can easily be determined and makes some sense. I never realized that there are so many words in the English language that are untapped. Thank the author for bringing us closer to our own language, through his ignorance of common usage.

"Display ossa root entelechy" = "diagram/bones/root/guiding principals" = "Diagram of the how this works"?

"Display pang ossa phon aperture" = "diagram/sharp emotion/bones/unit of perceived loudness/opening" = "Diagram of volume control"?

And so on...

Funny. This can often happen when people try and translate each Chinese character individually, without regard for context.
