Tulip Festival

Took a trip out to the Tulip fields on Sunday morning to see how they were coming along. The fields are looking nice, but still not full color. I will head back again this week. I know the composition isn't perfect; I got here late, was working really fast, and I was overwhelmed with possibilities, and the wonderful sunrise in front of me :)

While shooting this, another photographer setup a few feet away from me, and I said good morning to him without really taking a close look. It turned out to be none other than fellow flickr member danphotoman. This is the second time that I have run into him on coincidence. We decided to head over to Silver Falls after this and he showed me around the park for a few hours. Thanks again Dan!

Even better than going there! You really captured the mood so well. This is not only a lovely, eye catching shot but one that evokes in the viewer something that most "pretty pictures" that everyone gushes over don't. Almost anyone can shoot pretty flower field pictures, very few can see and capture what you did, congrats!
