still within the pouch

still within the pouch

There are times when poop happens then it hits the fan and that's when you know things are not quite the way you want them to be...
One month ago I decided to change internet providers not knowing what was to ahead and to cut a long story short, one month later I am finally back on line and slowly ctaching up with everything and every body.

As for the image, female kangaroos are very protective of their young and the last time I tried to get close to one, I was attacked but this female was very patient with me and allowed me to get to 15 feet or so close to her and I was thrilled for I had never seen a joey so young before.

one's loss is somebody else's meal

one's loss is somebody else's meal

Watching a Silver Gull kill a baby silver gull then attempt to swallow it whole was not a pleasant experience but nature has a way of keeping the population down and perhaps this is one way of doing so.
The parents of the youngster tried hard to rescue their baby but the cannibal was too strong for them and they gave up but kept on protesting about what just happened

Cape Wolomai

Cape Wolomai

This is a spot I have been trying to get to for a long time and finally, last weekend I made it.
Even though this spot is known for it's giant waves, when I was there, the waves were anything but giant but I guess we do the best with what we have. Will be back though, that's for sure!
