After leaving Osaka we just went around the corner to stay the next four days in Kyoto. The city is full of sights, old buildings, a buzzing downtown, traditional streets, nice nightlife, very interesting nature around the city itself. The best is that Kyoto is rather flat. That's why we rented a bike and were riding through the city for one day. It was totally worth it, we saw so many things. Some of them will be introduced here, of course :-)
This was also the first night after a while that we stayed in a proper
hostel again. I mean a real (!) hostel with 16 beds in one room. The
good thing was that some cool guys were lingering around as well. Kai
for example :-)
Anyway, the hostel we stayed in had a roof where Kai and me drunk some beer and so we got drunk the first time over the roofs of Kyoto. Strangely the roof was not very crowded the first night, so we had to do it on our own. But we had some music and a great view and some cool days ahead of us!
The picture itself is a little blurred. Unfortunately I had no tripod in Japan and the light under the trees was a little poor. So it's not perfectly sharp, but in the small version here it doesn't really matter
I also want to thank Ryan (stage8) for writing me such a nice testimonial. If you particularly like street shots you should visit the link at once and skip the commenting here. If you are interested in photography in general still visit it :-)
