Tiny Dancers

Tiny Dancers

The Musee Mechanique was a surprise find while wandering Fisherman's Wharf. Situated in a fairly nondescript pier building, it housed hundreds of old coin-operated arcade automations. Some fascinating, some...less so, but still interesting for what they represented when they were made, serving as a reminder of how different times were when they were new, and how different the world was perceived when they were made.

The Light at the End

The Light at the End

A hall in the old rooming house / prison at Nordegg, AB. Loved how vibrant the blue paint was still after so many years, and the old fixtures. The building itself was in reasonably good shape despite how long it has sat empty. Some vandalism, but not as much as one might expect...probably because this place is essentially a ghost town and not that well known.

Self-Portrait in Broken Mirror

Self-Portrait in Broken Mirror

Taken at an old rooming house/prison in Nordegg, AB.

Who needs a honeymoon in Hawaii or Mexico when you can visit the wonders of a nearly abandoned coal mining town at the edge of the Rockies, exploring some of the many abandoned buildings at the townsite?

Sean & Melissa

Sean & Melissa

Another one from the wedding of my friends Sean and Melissa. I wasn't their "official" wedding portrait photographer, but managed to get some great shots anyway.

Sean & Melissa

Sean & Melissa

Some other things I've been up to...

My good friends Sean and Melissa got married last year, and as my wedding gift to them, I offered my photography services. Honestly I don't think I'd do it again, but I am happy with many of the results.

Over a year later and much craziness in their lives and a bit in mine, I finally got their photos to them, which means I can finally post them for anyone else to see.
