Have you ever given any thought to arranging
something like this to operate in conjunction
with an aquarium of hamsters...???
The hamsters would run around and do their
normal hamster activities,
But in so doing, occasionally trip a wire or
step on a control pad that would release a
spring driven hammer or allow a ball bearing
to roll off a swinging pendulum, hitting a
pan lid...???
By filling the aquarium with just the right
number of hamsters,
You could balance the resulting music out
from between an ineffective doorbell & a
horrendous cacophony...???

To avoid possible cruelty, I would only do
this with naturally deaf hamsters.
