Notes On Assaults 2Patient is drunk does not need me racing in to get thumped - patient not breathing, well, it may be a lie, but I'm more willing to try my luck in that case. A man who is known to be violent and his wife has been stabbed? I think I'll wait for the police... Why are people violent towards us, is it because the same uniform that lets us undress people also makes us mere automatons; tools of 'the man'?  The notes I made before heading into the Radio 5 Live studio for a discussion on the flagging of addresses that have been abusive to ambulance staff.
