2008-05 Tequila Express |
My friend Erik suggested that while I
was in Guadalajara over the weekend that
I should take the Tequila Express.
Good suggestion! I had a blast! We
left Guadalajara train station in the
morning, and travelled an hour to the Casa Herradura, which is apparently the only Tequila
maker that uses natural fermentation
without the introduction of yeasts.
After spending a few hours touring the
plant, we sat down for a good dinner and
entertainment, and then took the train
home in the evening.
Of course, the drinks flowed freely
during the entire trip, and I certainly
had my share. I even broke out into thePee-Wee Herman Dance a few times, but they never played the
entire song.
I would do this trip again. This was
great!
