Wherever is it it's lovely.

It appears to be at the base of a slanting wall. Not that that helps much.

I'll open the guessing with the V&A.

Thanks all for your kind comments.

Thanks trailerfullofpix for guessing, but it's not V&A.

Looks like it will need more of a clue:
a) It's part of a new attraction (which has featured in GWL already) at a well established place and favourite haunt of mine.
b) this is only the subterranean entrance route to the 'attraction', which is certainly not underground - quite the opposite, in fact.

I'll add a picture clue if it reaches 100 views.

Hope that's cryptic enough to not just give it away,

well if the attraction is very much not below ground I'll go for the London Eye

Not Tate Mr Hyde I'd forgotten that had a basement entrance, nor London Eye myrtlemount - don't think either of those have a new attraction/feature.

The Hayward Gallery (the only place I can think of with new attractions)?

Not NHM Helen, but perhaps thematically warmer - it's certainly supposed to be representing something natural (info added in description above)

Kew Gardens? Something to do with the new treetop walk?

Hoorah - well done trailerfullofpix - it's the entrance to the treetop walkway, which I believe they are also referring to as their Rhizotron

Yet another reason to go. The new treetop walkway was under construction when I last went to Kew.

It was very windy when we went, so the whole walkway was swaying slight - just a warning in case any of you have vertigo issues. I thought it was fantastic - many pictures to follow.

Thanks for all the faves too - I think it's in flickr explore as a result (referrals from 7days are showing in today's stats). I feel slightly guilty as I didn't think it was a particularly brilliant photo, just a quick 'take it and see' shot - I definitely want to go back and try and get a better one.
