Kniom srolann Tira! Kniom sabay-jet baan juab look. Suk sabaay tee?
Thank you for saving Ke's life. Please do not die for him again. Your dream of your past life is related to Ke's past. You are the key that has unlocked his 30 years of hurt and guilt. Thank you, Tira.
In Tira's dream, he was bashed to death during Khmer Rouge regime. Coincidentally, Ke's childhood friend was beaten to death by whipping.
According to Ke, Tira has the same look, age, voice and character of his deceased friend. It is God wills that we found Tira again.
Last trip in November 2009, Ke found Tira in a garbage dump. Ke was shocked that Tira could look so similar to his childhood murdered friend. Out of the excitement, we forgot to ask Tira about his parents and home.
We thought we would have lost him as they were thousands of scavenger children at Stung Meanchey dump site. Thank to Ms Panny who worked for the NGO found him in a shop, and she set up an appointment for Ke, Calvin and I to meet Tira. It is a miracle that Tira could be found so easily without any effort.
It was a tear shedding experience indeed. Ke and Tira seemed to know each other for a long time. Tira could even remember in his own dream how he was tortured to death during the Khmer Rouge regime. Tira parents said that when the boy was born, he has a lump on his head. It was like he being smashed by a hard object.
Tira’s parents also shared with us that Tira almost died when he was younger. He was very sick and doctor told the parents that he would not live for another 2 days. But miraculously the boy survived and Buddhist monk told the parents that he would not die the second time as someone from his past life would save him. We know, Tira was waiting for Ke to come to his life and Ke was waiting to find Tira.
I do not belief in reincarnation but I belief in God’s wills. I will share more about Tira in next few days. Emotionally, I am so tired but I am so happy to be able to meet Tira too. He is such a courteous, brave, smart and caring boy. We love him so much.
