I would love to take him home and deposit him in a tub of hot, soapy water. Let him soak and scrub and let the grime wash away. But, sadly, I couldn't keep him. Society wouldn't allow it without a ream or so of paperwork to "protect" him from predators. How sad. How can we expedite care for these children without exposing them to predators?
